Why does partial matter to a buyer?

Partial is the most misunderstood status in the market. It is not a failure to refund and not a scam signal on its own — it is the panel closing an order it cannot complete and returning the money for what it did not deliver. The refund is automatic and lands in the wallet, which is why buyers expecting a card refund conclude they were never refunded at all.

What Partial does signal is supply trouble upstream. An isolated Partial on a cheap high-volume service is routine. A cluster of Partials across services and buyers in a short window is one of the behaviours that precedes a panel going dark, and it is the pattern a monitoring index watches for.

How does partial show up in a price list?

It appears as the status value in the API and in the orders table, always paired with a non-zero remains. The charge field still shows the original charge; the refund is a separate wallet credit.

Refill terms usually do not apply to the undelivered portion of a Partial order, because that portion was refunded rather than delivered — a distinction worth checking in a panel’s terms before assuming coverage.
