For panel owners

What you can buy here, and what is not for sale

Prices published. Last updated 2026-09-07.

What it costs

Four things, priced here rather than quoted in an email.

Listing

Free always

Every panel we can reach is listed whether it pays or not.

  • Full eligibility for every ranking, best-of list and comparison on the site
  • Live prices read from your API, if you give us a key
  • Domain verification: the owner badge, 5 trust points, and a place ahead of every unverified panel in the default ranking
  • A dashboard showing every figure we hold and exactly what would move each one
  • The embeddable badge, which earns you nothing and is free for that reason
  • The right to reply on the record under any review or complaint
  • Correction of anything we have wrong about you

Market data

$29 per month

Where your prices actually sit against everyone else selling the same service.

  • Your price against the market median, service by service, updated nightly
  • Daily history for every service you sell, from the day we first read it
  • The same index the public pages use, at full resolution rather than rounded
  • CSV export and an API key scoped to your panel plus the market aggregates
  • Alerts when a service you sell moves more than a set percentage

Sold on the index, not the audience, which is why it is worth something on day one.

Enhanced profile

$19 per month

A fuller page for people who have already found you.

  • Your logo, your own description, and up to six screenshots
  • A published offer or discount code, verified by us before it goes up
  • Your payment methods and delivery promises stated in your words, marked as yours
  • Priority on corrections and review replies

Changes what your page says. Changes nothing about where it ranks.

Sponsored slot

$79 per month, per surface

A labelled block above the results, outside the ranked list.

  • Your panel in a bordered block headed Sponsored, never in an organic position
  • Choose the surfaces: the directory, a platform, or a single service page
  • Two slots maximum per surface, so the block never becomes the page
  • Click counts you can check against your own analytics
  • Cancel any month; the slot ends on the date, not when someone remembers

Bought and sold as attention. It cannot move you up by a single place.

Ask about a slot

Two things on that free list move a panel in the default ranking, and neither is for sale. It is ordered in three tiers before the score is looked at: owners who proved the domain by DNS, then panels whose operator came forward and asked to be listed, then the panels we found by crawling the market. The second tier is the weaker of the two and is not a verification — asking to be listed shows there is somebody to answer for the panel, not that they control the domain — and both are free, open to every panel on identical terms, and set out in full.

How big is the audience?

Those are the real figures. If the click count looks small for the price of a sponsored slot, it is, and you should wait. We would rather sell you a slot next quarter than a disappointing one now.

What is not for sale

  • A position in any ranking, list or comparison table.
  • Removal or editing of a review, a complaint or a price we have recorded.
  • Removal from the directory. We list panels because buyers search for them.
  • A trust score component. Every one of them is measured, and the measurements are published per panel.
  • An unlabelled placement. If it was paid for, it says so where it appears.

This is not a principle we are asking you to take on trust. The formula is on the methodology page, rendered from the file that runs, and what we are paid for is counted on the disclosure page straight from the database.

Common questions

Can I pay to rank higher on PanelCompare?

No, and not for any amount. The ranking formula is one file, src/lib/scoring.ts, and it is rendered in full on the methodology page. Its inputs are prices, domain age, uptime probes, catalogue freshness, verified reviews, published policies and published complaints. There is no field describing money, so there is no branch that could read one. Paid placement exists, sits in a labelled block outside the ranked list, and never occupies an organic position.

What does a free listing leave out?

Nothing that affects your score or your position. A free listing is fully eligible for every ranking, every best-of list and every comparison. Paying adds presence: a fuller page, a labelled slot, and access to the market data. It adds no points.

Why would a panel buy the market data?

Because pricing against the market is guesswork otherwise. The index holds a per-service median across every panel we sync, updated nightly, and the paid view shows where each of your services sits against it with the history behind it. It is the one thing here that does not depend on our traffic, since it is sold on the strength of the index rather than the audience.

How much traffic does PanelCompare have?

The outbound click count for the last 30 days is published on this page, read live from the database rather than typed in. It is a new site and the number reflects that. An advertiser is owed the real figure, including when the real figure is small, and quoting anything else would be the first lie in a business whose entire product is being checkable.

Can I have a bad review removed?

No. You can reply to it on the record, under your verified name, and we publish both sides without editing either. If a review is fabricated or breaks the review policy, report it and a moderator will look; that is the same route open to anyone, and it is not for sale.

What happens if I stop paying?

The placement ends on its end date and the block stops rendering. Your listing, your score and your position are untouched, because they never depended on the placement in the first place.
