Coverage is still narrow. Live prices have been read from 1 of 129 panels (2,182 services). The rest are listed because they are real, reachable operators — not because we have seen their rates. Panels with no synced catalogue show no prices rather than an estimate. How the data is gathered.

Terms of use

These terms cover using PanelCompare, quoting our data, and submitting reviews, reports or a panel listing. They are written to be read, and each section says what it actually does rather than reserving every right a template could think of.

1. What you are agreeing to

By using PanelCompare you accept these terms. If you do not, the remedy is simply not to use the site — there is no account to close, because there are none.

PanelCompare is an independent price index and directory. It is not an SMM panel, a reseller, a broker or an agent for any panel. It does not take orders, hold funds, deliver services or intervene in a dispute between you and a panel. Where a panel is listed here, that listing is a description of a third party, not a recommendation and not a warranty about them.

2. What our data is and is not

Every price on this site is an observation of what a panel was charging at a stated moment, captured by reading that panel’s own catalogue. It is not an offer, not a quotation, and not a commitment by anyone. Wholesale rates in this market move weekly as sources are purged and providers exit, so a price can be correct when captured and wrong by the time you act on it. That is why every data table carries the date it was captured.

Scores, badges and rankings are the output of the formula published on the methodology page, computed from observations we collect. They express how a panel measured against those specific inputs. They are not a prediction that an order will deliver, a guarantee that a refill will be honoured, or a statement that a panel is solvent.

Feature flags, supply-chain inferences and quality tiers are labelled with their basis. Inferred relationships — such as which upstream provider a panel appears to resell — carry a confidence figure and are rendered as possibilities rather than facts below our threshold. Quality tiers are the panels’ own labels, normalised onto one vocabulary, not verified descriptions of the accounts delivered.

If you believe a figure is wrong, the correction process on the about page is a real one with a stated response time, and using it is more effective than these terms.

3. Risk you take on yourself

Buying social media engagement violates the terms of service of every major platform, including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, X, Twitch, Spotify and LinkedIn. Consequences observed in this market include purchased metrics being removed, reduced distribution, feature limits, removal from a monetisation programme, and — where a music distributor is involved — withheld royalties and forced takedowns. Nothing on this site is a claim that any panel or service avoids those outcomes, and any listing you find elsewhere promising a “100% safe” or “ban-free” result is making a promise it cannot keep.

There is also a legal dimension that this market routinely understates. In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission’s Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials, announced on 14 August 2024, prohibits selling or buying fake indicators of social media influence where the buyer knew or should have known the indicators were fake and misrepresented commercial influence, and gives the FTC civil penalty authority for knowing violations. The EU’s Unfair Commercial Practices Directive as amended, and the UK’s Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, treat fake reviews and undisclosed paid endorsements as banned practices. Review-buying services are the most exposed category of all, which is why we exclude them from the index entirely.

We describe this because it is material to a purchase decision. It is not legal advice, it is not tailored to your jurisdiction or circumstances, and you should take your own advice before acting commercially.

4. Dealing with the panels themselves

When you follow a link out of this site you are dealing with an independent company under its own terms and privacy policy. We have no control over what it charges, whether it delivers, whether it honours a refill, or whether it continues to exist. We cannot refund an order, recover a wallet balance, cancel an order, or compel a panel to reply to you.

Some outbound links are monetised, which means we may be paid a commission if you later spend money at that panel. Those links are marked, the arrangement is described in full on the disclosure page, and no commercial relationship affects a panel’s position in any ranking on this site.

5. Using our data and our writing

These are two different things with two different licences, and the split is deliberate: the numbers are more useful to the market when they circulate, and the writing is what we are.

Licence terms by material type
MaterialLicenceWhat that means
The price index and its dataset exportsCreative Commons Attribution 4.0Reuse it, republish it, build on it and sell products using it, including commercially, as long as you credit PanelCompare and link to the source page. This is the licence declared in the dataset’s structured data, so it is machine-readable as well as stated here.
Guides, glossary, methodology and editorial textAll rights reservedQuote short extracts with attribution and a link, as any publication would expect. Wholesale republication, translation or use as training-set filler dressed as original work is not permitted.
Names, logos and brandingNot licensedPanel names and logos belong to their owners and appear here to identify them. Our own name and mark may be used to attribute our data, not to imply endorsement.

Automated access is welcome through the public read API and the dataset downloads, which exist so nobody has to scrape. What we ask is that you use them instead of crawling pages at volume, identify your client honestly, and do not attempt to disguise automated traffic as a browser. Requests that degrade the service for other readers may be rate-limited or blocked, and that is an operational measure rather than a licence question.

6. Reviews, reports and submissions

If you submit a review, a complaint report or a panel listing, you confirm that what you write is your own honest account, that you have not been paid or otherwise induced to write it, and that you are not the panel’s operator, employee or competitor writing about a rival. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish, edit for length and clarity, and translate what you submit, with attribution to the display name you chose.

Reviews are moderated. Only reviews where a moderator has seen proof of purchase are marked as verified and count toward a panel’s rating — an unverified review can still be published, but it does not move a score. We reject submissions that are abusive, that name private individuals, that contain someone else’s personal data, or that appear to be part of a coordinated campaign in either direction.

Complaint reports carry a higher standard, because publishing an accusation about a named business has consequences. A report is published only with dated, specific evidence — an order ID, a transaction reference, a screenshot with a visible timestamp. The panel is notified and may reply on the record; replies are published unedited. A report with an owner response no longer counts toward the complaints penalty in the trust score, because a contested account is not evidence. We remove reports found to be false, and we say that we have.

You can withdraw anything you submitted at any time by writing to [email protected] from the address you used.

7. Things you must not do here

  • Submit a review or report you were paid to write, or that concerns a panel you operate or compete with.
  • Use the site or its data to promote services that target a named individual or business — review bombing, mass reporting, downvote and negative-engagement products. We do not list them, and we do not want to be the discovery layer for them.
  • Attempt to have a score changed by any route other than correcting the underlying observation.
  • Copy the listing pages wholesale to build a competing directory, or present our editorial text as your own.
  • Interfere with the service — probing for vulnerabilities other than through the disclosure route on the contact page, attempting to overwhelm it, or bypassing rate limits.
  • Use the site if you are under 16.

8. Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We work hard on accuracy, publish the method, timestamp the data and correct errors on a stated timetable, but we do not warrant that every figure is correct at the moment you read it, that the site will be available without interruption, or that a panel described here will behave as its data suggests.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your dealings with a third-party panel — including undelivered orders, lost wallet balances, dropped metrics, refused refills, or action taken against your account by a platform. Those are consequences of a transaction we are not party to. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including delisting a panel. Where a delisting is an editorial decision rather than an automatic status change, the reason is published and the panel is offered a reply, as set out on the about page.

9. Disputes and applicable law

Contact us first. Most disputes about this site are disputes about a number, and the correction process resolves those faster than anything else available to either of us. Write to [email protected] and you will get a reply.

These terms are governed by the law of the place where PanelCompare is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country of residence, or your right to bring proceedings there where the law gives you one.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

10. Changes

We update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top is the date of the last change. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms; if a change materially reduces your rights, we will describe it rather than fold it into a general revision.
