Why does private account matter to a buyer?
It is the most common reason an order that looks correct never moves. Delivery is external accounts acting on content they can reach, so where the content is not reachable there is nothing to act on. Followers can sometimes still be delivered to a private profile because a follow request is a public action, but likes, views, saves, shares and comments generally cannot, and the row will not say so.
The failure is also badly timed. Buyers who go private mid-order to hide a growth spike are the classic case: the order was accepted against a public profile, the start count was recorded, and delivery then stalls with a large remains figure. The panel’s logs show a valid order it could not fulfil, which is exactly the situation where a refill claim and a refund claim both go nowhere.
How does private account show up in a price list?
No catalogue field addresses it. Some service names carry a bracketed “Public account only” note; most do not, and the requirement surfaces only as a stalled order or an error at submission.
The practical rule is to make the target public before ordering and to leave it public until the order reports Completed, then check the delivered figure against the start count before changing anything.
