Buying and ordering

What information does an SMM panel need to deliver an order?

Last updated by The PanelCompare editorial team

Which order types ask for more than a link?

The requirement is set by the service’s order type, not by the panel, because every panel implements the same API specification. These are the types that take extra parameters, and none of them is an account credential.

Extra parameters by order type in the SMM Panel API v2
Order typeWhat it asks for beyond the link
Default / drip-feedQuantity, and optionally runs and an interval in minutes
Custom commentsA newline-separated list of comment texts
Mentions variantsUsernames, hashtags, or a media URL to scrape likers from
PollThe answer number to vote for
Subscriptions / auto-orderA username, a min and max quantity per post, and a delay
Web trafficA country, a device, a traffic type, and a keyword or referring URL

What should a panel never ask for?

Password, 2FA code, or write-scope OAuth

None of these appears anywhere in the API specification, and no delivery mechanism needs them. A request for any of the three means the operation is account takeover with a storefront in front of it. There is no legitimate exception, including for “private account” services and “account management” upsells.

PanelCompare does not list panels that ask buyers for a social account password, and that is an editorial exclusion rather than a scoring penalty — such a panel is removed from the index rather than ranked lower.

Think this answer is wrong?

Prices, refill terms and platform policies in this market all move, so an answer that was right in September may not be right in December. Every figure above names its source and the date it was checked; if one of them is stale or wrong, the correction process on the about page has a two-working-day reply target, and corrections are published with a dated note rather than quietly patched.
