A refill guarantee is a promise to replace units that drop off within a stated window — thirty days is the most common term, with “lifetime” advertised at the top end. It is claimed through the panel’s own refill action against a specific order id, which is why the guarantee is only ever as good as the order record the panel keeps.
Follower and like counts decay. Some of that decay is platform cleanup and some of it is the accounts behind the order deleting themselves, but from the buyer’s side it looks the same: the number goes down. Without a refill window you paid for a peak and own whatever survives, so the honest unit price is what you paid divided by what is left a month later, not by what was delivered on day one.
