Delivery, drops and refills

Why is my delivered count different from what I ordered?

Last updated by The PanelCompare editorial team

What arithmetic is the panel actually doing?

Start count is the metric value at the instant the order was accepted; it is returned by the API alongside status and remains. The panel’s claim is that it added the ordered quantity on top of that number. Your claim, usually, is about the number on the profile now. Those are different quantities whenever anything else moved in between.

  1. 1.Read the order’s start count from the order history or the status response.
  2. 2.Add the delivered quantity (ordered minus remains).
  3. 3.Compare that total against your current visible count.
  4. 4.The difference is what dropped — and whether you have a remedy for it depends entirely on whether the row carried a refill flag.

What else moves the number underneath an order?

  • A platform purge during delivery, which strips units from everyone holding that inventory at once.
  • Natural churn on a real audience, which is small but not zero.
  • A second order you or someone else placed on the same link, which also voids both refill claims.
  • The platform’s own count lag: several platforms update follower and view totals on a delay measured in hours.

Think this answer is wrong?

Prices, refill terms and platform policies in this market all move, so an answer that was right in September may not be right in December. Every figure above names its source and the date it was checked; if one of them is stale or wrong, the correction process on the about page has a two-working-day reply target, and corrections are published with a dated note rather than quietly patched.
