Safety and account risk
Are SMM panels safe?
Last updated by The PanelCompare editorial team
Which risk are you actually asking about?
| Risk | What it looks like | How much you control |
|---|---|---|
| Losing the money | Non-delivery, a partial that never refunds, or the panel going dark with your balance | A lot: operator age, published terms, reversible payment rails, small test orders |
| Harming the account | Purged units, reduced distribution, feature limits, loss of monetisation | Very little: enforcement is the platform’s decision, not the panel’s |
| Losing the account itself | Credential harvesting, or a bot with standing permissions in a community you run | Entirely: never give a password, never grant write scope, never invite a bot you do not need |

What can a panel honestly promise?
That it will deliver, refund a shortfall to your balance, and honour a refill inside a stated window. Those are things inside its control. It cannot promise that a platform will not remove the units, because it has no relationship with the platform and the platform is actively working against the inventory it is reselling.
PanelCompare does not publish “safe” or “ban-free” claims about any panel or service, and treats a panel making them as a negative signal rather than a reassurance.
Think this answer is wrong?
Prices, refill terms and platform policies in this market all move, so an answer that was right in September may not be right in December. Every figure above names its source and the date it was checked; if one of them is stale or wrong, the correction process on the about page has a two-working-day reply target, and corrections are published with a dated note rather than quietly patched.
