Withdrawal
Last updated by The PanelCompare editorial team
Why does withdrawal matter to a buyer?
The absence of withdrawal is the design decision that makes the wallet model risky rather than merely inconvenient. Partial and Canceled orders refund to the balance, promotional credit is usually locked to the balance, and if the balance itself cannot leave, then money on the panel is only ever worth what you can spend there. That is also why a partial refund on a panel you have decided to stop using is, in practice, a loss.
Where withdrawal is advertised, confirming that the path actually exists before depositing is worth the minute it takes. Disabling withdrawal or refund paths is one of the documented behaviours that precedes a panel going dark (PanelCompare domain research, 2026-09-06), so a withdrawal button that has quietly stopped working is a stronger warning than a slow order.
How does withdrawal show up in a price list?
It is an account-area feature rather than a catalogue field, and it has no action in the API v2 specification at all — the only money-related action is balance, which reports an amount and a currency and does nothing else.
Where offered, expect conditions: a minimum withdrawal amount, a fee, a return only to the original deposit method, and exclusion of any bonus or promotional credit.
Think this definition is wrong?
Terminology in this market is set by the panels that use it, and it moves. If a panel uses withdrawal to mean something other than what is written here, send us the listing and we will either correct the definition or record the variant. The process is on the about page.
