Where is the margin actually made?
On the rows buyers cannot price-check. Commodity services are transparent to the cent, so markup compresses toward the low end; opaque services carry far more. The extreme cases in the sample are instructive rather than typical.
| Service | Wholesale | Retail | Multiple |
|---|---|---|---|
| TikTok views | ~$0.06 | ~$0.70 | ~12× |
| YouTube views | ~$0.90 | $40 | ~44× |
| YouTube dislikes | $0.13 | $50 | ~380× — the widest observed |

A reseller cannot generally sell at those retail figures, because the buyer who found your panel can find another one. The 1.8×–3× band is what survives comparison; the outliers describe what happens where comparison does not occur.
Think this answer is wrong?
Prices, refill terms and platform policies in this market all move, so an answer that was right in September may not be right in December. Every figure above names its source and the date it was checked; if one of them is stale or wrong, the correction process on the about page has a two-working-day reply target, and corrections are published with a dated note rather than quietly patched.
